2006: Norway Opening University (NUV) approved a new application for “The Virtual Book for Social Work in Europe. Part of a Productive learning environment.
In addition to this Bergen University College, Norway and Jønkøping University in Sweden support the project with grants.

2004/2005
The Norwegian University Network for Lifelong Learning and Bergen University College grants the VIRCLASS project.
The close connection and integration of the project in the EUSW-TN include grants also from this project.
2005: A new application for the ELearning Programme in EU was sent but not approved.
In November 2003 the partner institutions in VIRCLASS applied for money to the MINERVA programme.
This application was not successful.
