The Fair City Singers
The
Fair City Singers, Perth, Scotland, was formed by Marion Neilson in 1989
for young singers, aged 0-17 years. The Choir regularly presents concerts,
staged shows and broadcasts accompanied by Martin Neilson on piano. The
children have been successful in competitions and have often appeared
on television. They represented Scotland at the Millenium Dome Celebrations
in London. Tours have included Switzerland, France, Czech Republic, Hungary,
Austria, Germany, Canada and the U.S.A.
Their repertoire consists of sacred music, spirituals, folk songs, jazzy
numbers and arrangements from opera. Many songs have exciting choreography!
The Choir has recorded 3 albums entitled 'Rise Up Singing' , 'FCS Gold'
