Kokopelli, Choral, Dance, Thematic Group
Ranging
in age from 14-23, Kokopelli is a vibrant and energetic troupe of young
singers from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Founded in 1996, this choir has
traveled extensively throughout North America and performed with many
outstanding artists over the years. The choir is known for their unique
style of presentation in performances of eclectic repertoire ranging from
the Middle Ages to contemporary works of many cultures. Kokopelli has
recorded 6 Cds and is currently working on a DVD that will feature the
best moments of the past five years. The choir has been featured at many
National Music Festivals in Canada including Podium 2000, The Association
of Canadian Choral Conductors National Conference.
