Voci Nobili, Bergen College Female Choir
Voci
Nobili, Høgskolen i Bergen, directed by Maria Gamborg Helbekkmo,
consists of about 30 female singers, mainly students from Bergen University
College and The University of Bergen. The choir has given a number of
concerts in Norway and abroad and has won several choir competitions.
It is regarded as one of Europe's finest vocal ensembles.
Latest achievements:
Februaray 2002: Representatives of the Municipality of Bergen at
the 49th Carnaval de Quebec in Canada, the worlds largest winter festival.
March 2002: 1st prize, female choirs, Grand Prize, and
prize for best conductor at Concorso Corale Internazionale, Riva del Garda,
Italy.
