The sun god's travels across the heavens

In olden Egypt Ra was the mightiest god. This sun god was revered as creator of the world.
The myths tell that Ra bore himself in the beginning. He spat, and from this spit Shu (air) and Tefnut (dampness) came. When Shu and Tefnut merged, Geb and Nut - the Earth god and the Sky god, were born.
The humans were created out of Ra's tears. Every morning Ra gets up and sails his boat across the heavens. Every night he gets devoured by Nut, and every morning she bears him again. During the night Ra fights Ahep the Serpent, who represents Grand Chaos. If Ra loses this fight the world will end.
